Multi-Cloud Sovereignty: Having Your Cake and Eating It Too
It is often claimed that organisations must choose between the innovation and scale of multi cloud environments or strict sovereignty and compliance. In reality, this trade off does not exist.
Most cloud platforms offer only limited innovation. At the same time, many enterprises already operate across three to nine different computing providers. This complexity arises from numerous partnerships, concerns about vendor dependency, and decisions made without a full understanding of architectural implications.
The challenge is not whether to use multiple clouds. The real question is how to benefit from each provider's strengths while maintaining full control, security, and compliance with the highest regulatory standards.
This session explores a modern approach to cloud architecture that combines flexibility with sovereignty. Topics include the sovereignty first architecture pattern, strategies for distributing workloads across providers without losing control, container based approaches that prevent vendor lock in, and the growing issue of inadequate network management within European enterprises.
Participants will gain practical insight into how to achieve both high performance and strong compliance without compromise.
