The Förderverein Open Source, Cloud Native und Künstliche Intelligenz Bayern e.V. (in short OSCKI) provides a space to discuss, embrace and take part in the community around cloud native, AI and for free & on open source software.

We believe we can do this best by ensuring that people taking part are valued, respected, accepted and encouraged to fully participate. Part of ensuring a wide range of opinions can be shared at our Cloud Native Summit and regional Meetups, ensuring that people from underrepresented groups within the community can attend and engage with the discussions.

Diversity Tickets

In order to promote this diversity we have since the event we are hosting a diversity tickets program. As organizers we will be providing a number of diversity tickets. More tickets will be added for every Sponsor who declares a diversity ticket sponsorship.

What is a Diversity Ticket?

Diversity Tickets are fully sponsored (i.e. free) tickets that are available to people from underrepresented groups within the cloud native, open source and AI community. This includes, but is not limited to: people with a recent migration background, people of colour, disabled people, and people facing economic or social hardships. Students are also very welcome to apply for a diversity ticket!

However, we will check on an individual basis if a person can receive a diversity ticket.

How can I get a Diversity Ticket?

If you think you are eligible for a Diversity ticket please feel free to email us at hello@sovereigncloud.community.

We will provide you with a discount code to go ahead and register yourself for the event.

What a diversity ticket is not for?

Unfortunately, "free" tickets also bring misuse and people trying to trick the system. We are sorry if this might create an additional hurdle for you.

The diversity ticket is not meant to provide you with Visa support. Also, if you are working for a generally healthy company (no recent layoffs paired with financial crisis, etc.), we would always ask you to first talk with your company about financing the tickets.

How can I support the your Diversity Ticket program?

If you work for a company that would like to support our Diversity Tickets program we would love to hear from you.
